Sport Clips Haircuts Ranked 16th in Entrepreneur "Franchise 500"
Sport Clips made leaps and bounds in this year’s “Franchise 500” rankings from Entrepreneur Magazine. Entrepreneur evaluates franchises based on their growth, monetary solidity, number of locations, and other objective factors. In 2015, Sport Clips ranked 36th. This year, Sport Clips jumped up 20 spots to claim 16th, making them the leading hair care provider catered to men.
2016 is shaping up to be a big year for the business. Besides opening up its 1,500th store, Sport Clips is estimated to make $3 billion in sales. Sport Clips is the only haircutting franchise with a presence in Canada, as well as all 50 states in the U.S. Part of Sport Clips’ success is due to their commitment to community involvement. The company gives scholarships through their “Help A Hero” program to help active U.S. soldiers call their families from overseas or deployment. They are also part of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
